A Voice for Washington's Cannabis Farmers
Washington Sungrowers Industry Association (WSIA) is a trade association governed by and representing cannabis farmers and processors throughout Washington State. We are dedicated to supporting sustainably farmed sungrown cannabis by encouraging positive environmental and economic policy through advocacy, education, and research.
We are committed to engaging with elected officials, regulators, and local communities to promote policy that prioritizes Washington's independent cannabis farmers who serve as the literal roots and foundation of our cannabis industry.
We currently represent 50 businesses who hold more than 90 WSLCB licenses combined!

Support WSIA Today!2021 Legislative SessionThe WSIA is hard at work in Olympia with the start of session on January 11th. Our lobbyist is analyzing and monitoring legislation impacting and benefiting the cannabis industry.
You can view our 2021 legislative priorities here. The WSIA Rules & Policy Committee is meeting regularly during the session to discuss and determine positions on legislation. We continue to develop relationships and introduce our organization to new legislators. WSIA believes in building lasting relationships with present and future lawmakers, helping educate them to the many and complex issues of the industry. With a unified voice we will have a strong presence in the Capitol and be able to influence the multiple bills related to the cannabis industry that will be considered in the coming legislative cycle, ensuring that fair and sensible regulations are put in place. Without coordinated and sustained representation in the halls of governance and press, the Sungrowers of Washington are likely to remain marginalized and disadvantaged by policies created with indoor cultivators in mind. |
