  Advocacy - Outreach - Education

Washington Sungrowers Industry Association is the largest cannabis trade association focused on the well-being of our licensed cannabis farmers consisting of 54 different businesses who hold more than 100 WSLCB licenses combined.  Cannabis farming generates significant revenues and creates more jobs with a much smaller footprint than traditional agriculture.

Maintaining a business environment that allows cannabis producers and processors to remain competitive and viable in the marketplace is a high priority to our members.

To accomplish this, Washington Sungrowers Industry Association works to develop and maintain effective working relationships with legislators, regulators, media, and other organizations to further our public policy goals.  This effort includes hosting and organizing farm tours, meeting with government officials, tabling at community events, and serving as a resource to policy makers and researchers.

Washington Sungrowers Industry Association is actively involved in both legislative and regulatory activities on behalf of our farmers at the county, state, and national levels.  Our mission is to ensure cannabis farmers can focus on what they do best, growing exceptional cannabis while we work to ensure that cannabis farmer's voice is heard.

Services to Washington Sungrowers Industry Association members include:
  • Professional lobbyist representing farmers interests at the Washington State Legislature and on regulatory issues.
  • Legislative tracking of state and federal issues.
  • Updates on state legislative actions.
  • Regulatory monitoring of state agencies.
  • Representation on various regulatory workgroups.
  • Regular updates on WSLCB activity.
